In a small bowl, mix the Italian seasoning, oregano, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil, then coat evenly with the herb seasoning mixture.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden brown.
During the last minute of cooking, add the butter and spoon the melted butter over the chicken.
Continue cooking until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges if desired.
