Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. If they are thick, pound them to an even thickness.
In a small bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil, then press the Parmesan seasoning mixture onto both sides of the chicken.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
Place the chicken breasts in the skillet and cook for 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden brown.
During the last 2 minutes of cooking, add the butter and minced garlic. Spoon the garlic butter over the chicken as it cooks.
Continue cooking until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges if desired.
