Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe

This Buffalo chicken dip is creamy, cheesy, and packed with bold buffalo flavor. Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • ½ cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 2 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese optional
  • Fresh parsley or extra green onions for garnish optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, buffalo wing sauce, and sour cream until smooth.
  3. Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  4. Fold in the shredded chicken, half of the cheddar cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, and the green onions until evenly combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a lightly greased baking dish and spread it into an even layer.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the top. Add crumbled blue cheese if using.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly and the cheese is melted.
  8. Let the dip cool for 5 minutes before serving.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley or sliced green onions and serve warm with your favorite dippers.

Notes

  • Rotisserie chicken makes this recipe quick and easy.
  • Add more buffalo sauce if you prefer extra heat.
  • For a lighter version, use reduced-fat cream cheese and ranch dressing.
  • Reheat in the microwave or oven until warmed through.
